Enjoy all the “lost files” in Zero Hour

Generals Zero Hour Continue is a free-to-use game utility developed by user taofaikwai for the strategy game Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour. In this mod, you get to experience the supposedly lost files for the game: characters, missions, and other content that was left by the original developers on the cutting room floor.

With Generals Zero Hour Continue, you get to enjoy tons of additional content especially in terms of missions and storylines. If you’re looking for more weapons and game modes to enjoy the classic strategy even further, you can check out the C&C: Generals Zero Hour mod.

New missions with new Generals

One major feature for the Generals Zero Hour Continue mod is its new single-mission campaign. Not only is it lengthy in itself–with 15 different missions to accomplish–but it also features a large volume of official voice dialogues that didn’t make it into the official release from Electronic Arts. Also, the mod changes the name of the factions in-game although it doesn’t result in drastic changes in gameplay.

Speaking of new content for players to experiment with, there are three new generals. Each faction has its own, resulting in all-new sets of general’s abilities that can turn the tide of battle. Additionally, some existing units in the base game have been remodeled and repurposed, which changes the gameplay players might be familiar with. For example, the Humvee unit is replaced with the UN Humvee, with slight design changes.

While it manages to restore what the original developers have removed from the game, plus a few more additions, there remain a few problems with this game add-on. Players report various bugs that can affect gameplay. For example, certain units have drastically changed attack range and damage values, which results in an unbalanced gameplay experience. There are also certain animations for some units that encounter glitches in-game.

Continue the legacy

By making the deleted content available to players, Generals Zero Hour Continue add a new story and a new layer of gameplay to the strategy classic players have known and loved. From new generals to new units, the game features slight changes that affect the overall experience. It gives players new things to enjoy, although some persisting bugs undermine these improvements. Still, it’s a recommended Zero Hour mod.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
